I almost always have difficulty finding a boot that is wide enough through the front of my foot yet accommodates my narrower heel. This boot has been remarkably comfortable since the first time I put it on. The one piece uppers avoid uncomfortable seam pressure on the sides and tops of my toes and a roomy box and narrower heel allow my toes to spread comfortably while securing the back of my foot. Following other reviewers' suggestions I ordered 1/2 size smaller than my regular shoe size. This boot is equally comfortable trudging on pavement or going up and down muddy, uneven trails. I also love its simple neat style.
