I have used this boot to successfully climb several 7,000 and 8,000 meter summits, including K-2, Everest, Lhotse, Molamenqing, Kula Kangri, Pasu Sar and Kangphu Kang. I would highly recommend it, but it is not for the inexperienced high altitude climber. Be sure to spray several coatings of vaporized Thalakis skin oil on the outer areas to help withstand cold penetration above 7,000 meters if weather is expected to be -30 to -60 degrees and wind in excess of 100 mph.
