These shoes are kindda like flip-flops with added foot protection. True to size. True to width. Build-quality is excellent. Made in Slovakia. Shoes look great with jeans. Comfortable, good traction, and lightweight. Bottom sole is similar to a hiking sole: stiff and thick... so, you won't feel too many rocks on the bottoms of your feet. Extremely low sole height, so you'll remain close to the ground. You won't gain any additional inches like running shoes and hiking boots. No arch support. So, I replaced the thin, removable factory insoles with orthotic insoles. I love these shoes.
