When looking at the picture, you get the impression that 2 large bands cover your foot like some geriatric shoes would, but they look much smaller in reality and are discreetly elegant. I managed to break in the toe area after wearing them 6 or 7 times. Your heel is well cushioned for a 2-inch height. Nice shoes.
