I bought it for its looks and capacity. Unfortunately, if you fill it to capacity it's too heavy to carry and will cost you extra to check. And this is before even using the expansion feature!! I will say, though, that it's durable. I bought the whole set and the carry on is beyond the size measurements allowed for carry on unless you're flying business or first. So, the only piece really usable is the mid-size. I will buy something else when I replace.
