Bought them in dark brown to go with dark brown and even black slacks this fall and winter. It's a very plain, basic pump with a mid-sized heel. Nothing fancy, just a comfortable, conservative shoe at a good price.

I like this shoe, and was disappointed that I couldn't order it in other colors. It has just enough heel height to be dressy, without being uncomfortable walking or standing. I've ordered Lifestride shoes before, and have always been happy with them.

At 5'10" I rarely wear heels, but decided that sometimes I want to dress like a "grown-up." I bought a couple of pairs of 3" heels which I ended up giving to my 23 year old (5'4") daughter. I couldn't walk in them. These shoes felt comfortable from the first wearing, and improved after that. I can wear them all day at school (I'm a teacher) or in church. My red heels look snazzy with a pair of "denim trousers," (otherwise known as good jeans) and a matching red sweater, and they look nice with a simple black dress or skirt and sweater. I'm thinking of getting some more in another color.
