Great looking shoe, but don't choose these for comfort. The heel is stable but a little too high for a lot of walking. I initially bought them for the office, but between the height and the tight, narrow band that intersects on the top of the foot.I've decided to wear them to places where they're only on my feet for a few hours at best.

I needed a black shoe for work, but the heel height was a bit higher than I was used to. I had to walk a few blocks to a party and they were comfortable, to my surprise. My stockings bunched up a bit at the top of the feet where the elastic gores crossed, when I first put them on. A little tug on the stocking fixed that. Great cushioning in the soles.
