I bought the belt because I am tired of buying belts which claim that they are leather. When you get them they are leather all right. It is about 1/64 of an inch thick, with a cardboard core. I will pay a little more to get a quality product, because in the end it lasts longer and as a result it really is cheaper.

The belt is great except when it was finished, thetip end of the belt did not have any finish on itand I had to put shoe polish on it to make it matchthe rest of the belt, but for 19 bucks including postage, it was still a pretty good deal.
