The Max is a genuine suede scuff with a soft plaid fleece sock and lining. It also has a latex insole that offers lasting cushion, and has an indoor/outdoor durable outsole.

Fit: This style is available in whole sizes only and tends to run large. If you normally order a 1/2 size it is recommended that you order the next full size down. For example, if you normally purchase a size 6 1/2 we recommend purchasing a size 6.

I thought I deserved a sweet pair of slippers, and these looked the part. They're comfortable and stylish (and how many slipper designs can you say THAT about?) - and you can walk outside in confidence. You won't even look like you're wearing slippers, assuming that your legwear hang like pants.End of the honeymoon: I found that the footbed is where the good and bad are mixed. Probably memory foam under a plaid flannel-type covering. After six weeks one has a ruck in it, and they both have developed a hard, rough-to-the-touch patch where the ball of my foot makes contact. Maybe if one were to wear them with socks they could last longer.

Long story short these Men's L.B. Evans Max slippers are VERY comfortable with just enough support, yet the sole is rather soft so you can walk pretty quietly on a hard wood floor middle of the night overall. I like the padding inside..seems to be of high quality and it conforms to your foot shape to a large degree. Those slippers with the fluffy insides may look nice..but I can't see them wearing very well over time as that fluff STUFF starts to get compressed, and or fall out over time. These slippers have a nice lining..and seems they will last a very long time. I am actually a 10.5 normally but Shoebuy said these tend to run a little large and I must agree. The 10 I bought feels JUST about right for my usual 10.5 feet. I also feel these are just nice looking (that's subjective I guess) But NOT subjective are they look like high quality slippers. They are really comfortable, warm, and seem to be well made. If you like the style I think you may be QUITE happy with these slippers!
