L.B. Evans has always produced an excellent product, and this is no exception. I use my Lariats as a "trigger" to relaxation at home: my slippers, my dog, and two-fingers of scotch and I'm good-to-go.

I am replacing an older (and well worn) pair of the same slipper. I originally ordered size 10 to match my old pair, but found them to be a bit small. Exchanged them for size 11 and they seem to be fine.

I purchased this shoe as a gift for my mother who has enjoyed wearing my father's slippers for decades. Now that she is very mature, she must have a slipper that is fits well, does not slip on marble, tile or wood floors, and is sturdy enough to withstand an occasional outdoor walk to the mailbox--a block away. When she opened the box and tried on the slipper, she was ecstatic. She says that the leather is as soft as deerskin, and the shoe has enough support that she does not feel that she is wearing house slippers. I am pleased that she is "very pleased."

Number one, the Lariat Opera Slippers are so classy and oh so comfortable. These are the best slippers we have ever purchased. I have never paid $60 for a bedroom slipper but I can tell you it is well worth the money.

When I ordered these slippers I had no idea that US sizes were 1 (one) number below UK sizes.I had wanted to order a British Size 10 and made the mistake of ordering a US size 10 which is in reality a UK Size 9. I should have ordered a US Size 11.Obviously I can't use the slippers as they are too small. In addition I live in Chile and to return them would cost more in freight to the US than the slippers themselves.So, I'm stuck with a pair of slippers I can't use.
