I bought these to supplement my current, much loved, slippers from HS Trasks that have a leather bottom. The intent was to be able to wear them outside for quick runs to get the paper, etc., but the sole is too slick to be safe on a wet surface, much less a bit of frost. Heck, they're even too slick for the hardwood floors inside.
