My husband is picky about his boots. He was worried about buying this, because the only color available at time of purchase was the black cherry and he was also afraid they would not be true to size. The size was perfect and the black cherry is a very nice color. They were not hard to break in and he had me order the black when it became available.

I have owned this boot for 2 years and have been impressed. its a cheap boot with a great feel. I do feel confident with each stride as one reveiwer had posted, also one reveiwer wrote he had last worn his boots to church that sunday. Mine however have gone to hell and back under my feet. They have been durable with the leather lower, unfortunately with the synthetic shaft the back side where your foot bends the shaft has cracked and split slightly. It's hidden under your jeans so it's not a big deal. I'm thinking about buying another pair right now. I would consider it a good disposable boot and worth buying a second pair.Also, I have worn a size 10 in just about any other footwear and this size 9 fits nice
