LaCrosse 9" Lil' Burly
These boots are perfect for the farm

Disclaimer: I'm an adult female who is lucky to have small enough feet to buy child sizes (way less expensive that way).I use these at our farm year-round. Just tuck my pant legs in and I'm covered almost up to my knees (I'm short, too). In the winter it's sometimes easier to walk up the creek than stumble in the cow field and my feet never get the slightest bit cold. And if I walk up the cow field, I don't have to worry about where I'm stepping {smile}. A quick rinse in the smaller creek near the house when I'm done and I'm good-to-go without tracking anything undesirable into the house. In the summer I wear them when I'm mowing, weed-eating, working in the garden, etc. Once again, a quick rinse and nothing follows me into the house. They are insulated enough to keep my feet warm in the winter, but not so much that I'm miserable when I wear them during the summer. This is my 3rd pair of these in 15+ years, I haven't worn the other pairs out, they virtually dry-rotted instead. If this pair dry rots in the next 5-6 years, I'll certainly be in for another pair!If you are looking for these for a child, I'm 99% sure they'll grow out of them before they even begin to wear them out.I recommend these boots whole-heartedly!
