100% waterproof, ozone-resistant black rubber compound shell with high tensile strength and abrasion resistance. Trac-Lite™ outsole for grip on wet and slippery surfaces. Canvas lining and pull straps for easy on and off. Removable EVA insole for cushion comfort. Rubber reinforced at leg and ankle for durability. Fiberglass shank for arch support.

I still have my old boots I bought 10, 15 years ago. They seem thicker than the new ones. Maybe, maybe not. I like the new ones and if they last as long as my old ones I will be happy.
