I work an indoor/outdoor job as a security officer in sometimes very wet weather conditions, so I wanted a boot that would protect me from the rain & snow while also being comfortable enough to wear for an 8 hour shift, and good-looking enough to go with my professional uniform. These boots are lightweight, flexible, & supportive. They are truly waterproof, both the rubber and neoprene keep even the worst wet weather from ruining my pants & my day. They are warm enough for snowy days without suffocating my feet/legs. The neoprene also grips & keeps my socks from falling down, which is wonderful. I have large-ish calves from walking all day, and the adjustable strap at the top works great, I can pull the boots on easily & then tighten them down to stay firm around my leg. The soles get quite a good grip on the wet ground, and the insole is very supportive, so I can wear them all day.My wife loves them, she was happily surprised at how attractive they looked, especially after those old yellow rubber boots, which make me look & walk like an overgrown duck. Really pleased overall!
