I really like this Iceman Alpha boot for warmth, although I recommend ordering 2 sizes larger than the regular Iceman since the boot is a little difficult to put on due to the narrow ankle portion. Because of the narrow ankle portion of the liner, it is a little difficult to remove your foot, without having the entire liner pop out of the boot. It is just something you need to get use to, since it does make the process much easier, and the liner slips back in fairly easy. The first time I removed them, it reminded me of my younger years, when I had to ask my mom or dad to pull off my boot. By ordering the boot 2 sizes larger, this extra size will give you the same toe room as your normal size Iceman. Example if you normally take a size 10, order a size 12. If you don't do this, I guaranty you will be dissatisfied. Also I would recommend waterproofing both the leather and neopreme exterior with a leather protector. If you do this, you will not have problems of wet feet, like other reviewers have claimed. The boot is really light weight, and not a clunker making noise while hunting. Also because of the 2mm neopreme insole, it provides that extra protection from the cold, when standing on the ice while ice fishing. I would definitely recommend this boot. My old Icemans have lasted me over 15 yearrs. and I also still use them. These are my second pair from ShoeBuy.com, and they have have been great to allow me to return and get the proper size.
