I bought these for my husband. I was a little worried that these would be not the greatest quality considering the price, but bought them after reading the good reviews. These are surprisingly warm, sturdy boots! Great for shoveling snow or to wear to work. My husband loves them!

I was looking for a sturdy winter boot that would give me the warmth and traction to comfortably walk to work in the worst of weather. This boot felt quite flimsy out of the box (it's made in China, not in the U.S., as others have written), and while it emulates a boot by L.L.Bean, a side-by-side comparison shows them to be very different boots. The sole rubber is different, and L.L.Bean's has a great deal more traction. My Lacrosse boots couldn't keep me from sliding all over a rough patch of ice. And the arch support differs between the two boots--it's virtually non-existent on the Lacrosse and significant on the L.L.Bean. Overall, a disappointing purchase, and I will likely replace them soon.
