Sandals are open footwear consisting, in its most basic design; of a sole which is fastened or held to the foot by straps or thongs, leaving most or all of the foot exposed. Sandals are primarily a warm weather type of footwear and can be classified based on the function and activity for which they are intended or by their design and style. Casual and walking sandals are mainly designed for comfort, while sport sandals are mostly intended to provide support, traction and performance. Fashionable and dress sandals for women may have many of the style variations found on other shoe styles such as medium to high heels, platforms, toe covering etc. Other styles of sandals include, but are not limited to; flip flops, thongs, ankle strap sandals, fisherman sandals, wedge sandals, etc.

I bought these shoes as I had them in the 70's and remember the comfort. The length is fine but the shoe is still really, really tight. I have been wearing them around the house to break in.....almost there. Bought to have a run around in shoe with some shock absorbing soles. Love how they look. Even just bought a new mahogony leather messenger Coach bag that matches exactly. Maybe I really should have bought the 8 as I wear a 7 1/2. I purchased the 7. Shoebuy price is the best.

Love these shoes soooo much the first time I ordered them. Decided to order them in black too! They are the MOST comfortable heels. I can wear them all day long. Too bad they don't come in more colors! Definitely worth the price.

I had a pair in the 70's and I wore them everyday for years. Was excited to see them available again. However; the sizing is weird because of no half sizes. I wear a 7, while it was right in length, but much too big in the straps everywhere. So I ended up with a 6, and my big toe is a little too close to the edge of the sandal. I think it may look like it is too small, but it feels good and after a bit of stretching, I'm hoping they will be better. I don't want to wear them out of the house, in case I may return them. I really believe half sizes is the answer to offering a more custom fit. The leather squeaks quite a bit, Will that get better as the leather softens? Time will tell.

I've worn Kork-Ease for many years. I like that they have comfortable height and are stable. I think that they make your legs look thinner.
