Product Description (Men's Kodiak 202056)
This rugged hiker-style shoe features a waterproof upper, a full bellows padded tongue, a Cordura® padded collar, a breathable nylon mesh lining, and a removable EVA molded footbed for a comfortable, dry fit. It has a lightweight compression molded EVA midsole and a slip- and oil-resistant rubber outsole with an abrasion-resistant rubber toe and heel guard .
This boot also features a steel toe that is ASTM F2413-05 approved and provides electrical hazard protection
Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 9 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 9.

The Kodiaks are very comfortable and didn't need any time being broken in. Hopefully the insides last longer than some other brands I have worn in the past. So far so good! I may buy another pair I like them so much.

I bought these shoes for my husband for work. He drives a tow truck so he is in and out of bad weather. He says they are not waterproof and the tongue is very uncomfortable.

Could use better insoles April 20, 2012

We were looking for a steel toe shoe for my husband for work. Tired of the boot thing. These seemed to fit the bill, with the exception of the insole. But I bought some insoles and VOILA! Solved!

I bought these shoes for my dad at christmas time for work. He really enjoys them and wears them every night. He also says he feels taller in them becasue the sole is a little thick.
