The first pair I sent back was to narrow so I ordereda size ten men's and found it also narrow but I did not want to do a second return. What I will do is try to wear very thin socks and if that doesn't work try to stretch the width.

The shoes are pretty good. I bought wide and they were still a little narrow and a little small. After I broke them in they fit ok. They seem to be well made and they look good my only issue was the fit.

I'm a woman with large, wide feet so I often buy men's shoes that can pass as women's - because they're not bulky looking, hard heeled, etc. These are great because they're rugged whether they're for men or women, but mostly because they fit and wear well. They are mostly like loafers, and I expect they will wear in well and become softer over time. My only complaint is that they're so well made (good to wear in rain and snow, too) that the back of the heel is very sturdy and I have to use a shoe horn to get into them. Over time they may soften up a bit, but I just like how sturdy they are - not stiff, but sturdy. I am very glad I bought them.

I bought the shoes based on reviews and looks. They are much too large for me and are basically unusable.
