Sandals are open footwear consisting, in its most basic design; of a sole which is fastened or held to the foot by straps or thongs, leaving most or all of the foot exposed. Sandals are primarily a warm weather type of footwear and can be classified based on the function and activity for which they are intended or by their design and style. Casual and walking sandals are mainly designed for comfort, while sport sandals are mostly intended to provide support, traction and performance. Fashionable and dress sandals for women may have many of the style variations found on other shoe styles such as medium to high heels, platforms, toe covering etc. Other styles of sandals include, but are not limited to; flip flops, thongs, ankle strap sandals, fisherman sandals, wedge sandals, etc.

These are the perfect wedges for summer. Very comfortable and light weight. So happy I purchased them. I will say if you have a narrow foot I would not recommend. They do run a little big in the width.

I bought this shoe because I've been looking for a similar style by OTBT, but haven't been able to find it in my size (6-6 1/2). I've worn it a couple of times all day at work and loved it, but it wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped it would be. I have pretty narrow feet so if they were wider or fatter it would be uncomfortable. I think the wider strap is too snug and it prevents my foot from naturally fitting all the way into the front strap and the little thing between my toes so as I walk it doesn't really feel secure. I'm hoping that the wide strap will stretch out a bit and the whole thing will eventually feel better on my foot. Kind of expensive, but I was too lazy to return it and it has been the closest thing to the shoe I really wanted originally (OTBT Brookfield) which is the same price.
