Originally I purchased this shoe to wear with heavy socks, size 7.5 that was too tight. I bought a size 8 and it works good but a little long and the heel slips. Still, overall it is a very comfortable shoe. Probably if it wasn't for wanting to wear a heavy sock with it, the 7.5 would have been fine.

Since receiving this shoe, it's practically the only shoe I've worn to work (educator). My feet hurt a lot but not in this shoe; the preferred shoe now in my closet. I ordered a 8 1/2 wide when I normally wear a 9 and I am happy with the fit: ample toe/forefoot room, my 'wide' size is plenty wide enough, love the closed toe/no lace appearance,soft and comfy & professional looking shoe, was concerned about rolling my ankle in them but has not happened. Dislikes: borders orthotic look in appearance some, pricey,and I'm having a hard time finding smooth, dark brown version to order.

These shoes felt as though I had already "broken them in". They are so comfortable. The insole is very comfy and I love that they give me some extra height. I have purchased 2 pairs now and would love to purchase a leather navy pair in wide.
