So I think that this shoe runs 1/2 to one size larger than stated and I think it is because of the comfortable width. One could definitely get away with one size smaller than usual.
Wears this shoe: 12 hr work days on a busy Critical Care Unit.

I am a nurse and didn't like Dansko shoes because they are so hard. These Klogs have support, but they are not as hard as Dansko shoes. They do run a whole size smaller. I wear a size 9 in tennis shoes and had to order a size 8 in the Klogs.

I first purchased size 6 Wide but they were too small and returned them easily. Since half sizes are not available, I purchased the 7 wide. They fit but seem just a smidge big, but not a big deal. Shoe is still very comfortable and since I liked the color and style decided to just keep them and wear with thick socks.
