I bought these as hiking shoes for my 9 year old daughter before our trip to the Rockies, but she has been wearing them for everything - school, tennis, walks, playing, everything. They feel very light and flexible.

My 6 1/2 yr old is super picky with his shoes. I held my breath when I presented these to him, and I was over the moon when he expressed how happy he was!! He loves the fact that they look like "tie shoes" and there is no tying involved. Loves the bright colors, and he claims the make him jump real high and run super fast.....that's a real compliment to the shoe from a 6 yr old boy!

I am very happy with the New Balance KX624 that I received. I have a small but wide foot and it's been very difficult over the years to find shoes that are just right.

My son loves these shoes. He is rough on his shoes yet these hold up amazingly well; we both love how they look. He outgrew his last pair and we immediately ordered another pair! We've tried other styles and he prefers how these fit over any others. I'm sure I'll be back to buy the next size up.He wears these every day.

This is the second time I bought this shoe for my daughter. Yes. It is a boys shoe but she wanted this color! It never wears out on the outside. After wearing it for 9 months the inner sole started to get thin but that is a long time for a kids shoe. She hikes in it and wears it to school. It is very padded and comfy.
