This shoe gets a lot of compliments. The covered toe look is kind of funky and they are pretty comfortable for walking compared to most flip flop styles. I don't think I'd purchase them again though. If they had a back strap that would improve their comfort for walking.

I bought this sandal because I like the idea of having a toe guard in front. I can wear them and not have to worry about stubbing my toe on something, and the shoe is made sturdy, not like your typical flip flop. I would highly recommend this sandal, comfy too!
Wears this shoe: Casual wear after work , weekends.

I LOVE this shoe. I bought my first pair of these four years ago, and every year have added a new color to my collection, but the first pair still looks brand new after TONS of wear. They are extremely comfortable and protective with the KEEN toe but still cool enough to be called a flip flop. Highly recommended!!! And I get a lot of compliments on them because they are different.
Wears this shoe: ALL THE TIME, ALL SUMMER LONG even into the fall until the snow flies

This is my second pair of Waimea's and my old ones are still going strong. These are my number one summer staple because they are lightweight, have a comfortable molded footbed, and mostly because I never stub my toe or catch the front of the thong on things - as I would in regular flip-flops.
Wears this shoe: Good for kayaking, biking, lawn mowing, and shopping trips.
