These were the only shoes I needed on my vacation (I took a chance and didn't even bring my sneakers)! I hiked on pavement, over rocks and in the sand and they were quite comfortable and durable. I wasn't sure about these at first because they don't feel like they have a lot of arch support, but I think the molded footbed and midsole make up for it. The only thing that bothered me was sand getting caught in the toe protection and I had to take them off to empty it out. Other than that, I love my Keens. They feel great and look great!

This is my second pair of Keens, the first pair fell victim to our puppy, and would continue to replace them forever! They are so comfortable for my short wide feet unlike any other shoe. I wear them for everything, but especially for hiking, walking, swimming. Very activity friendly. They slip on fast when i need to chase my toddler, clean up quickly when puddle jumping. Love these shoes!

I purchased these shoes for a nature-intensive trip to Ecuador. The shoes are incredibly comfortable and held up perfectly in wet and dry conditions.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I am 61 years old. Because I have arthritis in my feet, I look for comfort first in a shoe. This shoe is comfortable for my foot as long as I wear socks. I've been told more than once by others, including my son that they think the shoes are ugly. The shoe fits according to my size and width well and I like the fact that the toe is not open as I am not as likely to get sand or gravel in the shoe. I have had a learning curve in using the elastic cords to strap the shoe in place, but like the flexibility they provide as to tightness around my foot. As a summary, comfort is my first goal. Pretty is down the line for me, so I give my Keen shoes a "4".
