The aggressive outsole has 4mm lugs to bite into the terrain, providing excellent traction. The ESS shank provides torsional stability for a secure ride, while the mid cut height increases ankle support from canyons to mountaintops.
Fit:This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

LIKES: These shoes rock--great for cold, un-predictably rainy European weather. Looks fine with daily clothing or trail gear; all-around great daily wear. Fit is great...but since these are the 2nd pair I've owned, I already knew my size.NO LIKE: Quality control at Keen has gone down a bit, apparently. Minor stuff, but all the other Keen products have been great in qual. For this pr, first the 2 tongues are sewed a bit differently. Also, looks like the leather on the toes wasn't fully punched out (there's a bit of hanging "chad"). Again, minor stuff, but the last pair I had were perfect.
