When the weather outside is frightful, the Summit County from Keen is delightful. The rugged rubber outsole reacts to cold weather by hardening for a tough grip on packed snow. Since toes are the first to get cold, this boot features 450-gram KEEN.WARM insulation in the toe area. The remaining upper is warmed with 350-gram KEEN.WARM insulation. Combined with a KEEN.DRY breathable waterproof membrane, this boot has all the makings of the ultimate winter boots.

Fit: This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

These boots are warm and there's room for my toes to move! I've never had a good fitting pair of boots that kept me warm and fit PERFECT. I normally wear a size 10, so based on the reviews I ordered a 10-1/2. The fit is perfect. This is my first pair of KEEN and I think I'm sold on this brand. I will definitely buy this brand again.
Wears this shoe: In the winter and for walking in the woods.
