Designed for river play, the adjustable secure-fit lace capture system keeps the Owyhee snug on your feet even in swift currents. When shoes and sandals mix, feet win. I bought this shoe for Father's Day for my husband to wear as a summer sandal while on vacation at our place at the lake. He is finding them to be comfortable and cool and very practical for water activities and even for wearing while washing the car.

I bought a whole size larger than I normally wear. I was able to get my foot in it but it is a struggle. Keen needs to have more widths to choose from.

Like many things in life, you get what you pay for. I have arch support problems with both my feet so finding a supportive sandal was quite a challenge. Once I decided that I needed to spend the "big bucks" and chose the Keen Owyhee, I realized I found a very good sandal/shoe for my needs. I have to wear an inlay in my shoes for added support, so I needed a sandal which covered the heel of your foot and this Keen model worked perfect with my inlays. I feel these sandals are worth the high price because of my special needs.
Wears this shoe: In warmer weather. To relax and get out of my sneakers/shoes.
