The Newports are arguably the best made, most comfortable all-around watershoes on the market. My only caution would be that if you have a "D" or "E" width foot, you might want to move up a half size for a little more relaxed fit.

These are fast becoming fixtures. Easy on-and-off, lenient on my slightly irregular and just-a-little-wide feet, and comfortable enough to wear all day even for yard work or pavement pounding. And the styling is very appealing, ( I chose the two tone green) with the little reflective tabs as a bonus! Since I insist upon being a nerd and wearing socks with them sometimes, I was relieved to discover that low rise black socks work quite well with these. Looking forward to logging many miles in my Keens at the upcoming Burning Man festival.

This shoe is very well constructed. The sole has great traction. The insole has a nice cushion. The straps adjust well. It does run a size or so small. I wear a women's 11 wide. I ordered the men's to adjust for the width issue (no wides in womens). Normally I order a 9-9.5 in mens, but I had to order a 10. They fit, but there is no room for growth (hopefully there won't be any), but I was disappointed in the colors - but only because I couldn't order some of the cute women's colors. The olive that I did order is great - much nicer in person. The shoes are comfortable. I only give it a 4 star because there is minimal arch support (although it's there). However, I have high arches and plantar facitis. I do have some discomfort with the latter condition with these shoes. But honestly I have to say, I bought these shoes soley because I think the style is cute. I never intended on wearing them for long lengths.

I'm in Iraq, with the world's finest - the Marines. We get two weeks off (for doing a year in the Al Anbar Province) - and the US Govt will fly us anywhere we want! I'm going to Fiji. I bought these to run around on the streets and, on the beach. When I get R&R in a few months. So, that's why I bought them.
Wears this shoe: In the little Fijian villages and running around the beach
