The velcro strap keeps her foot in so no biggie on the width. You do have to kind of pull out the tongue every time you put your foot in but that's not a big deal. Wears this shoe: Daily

	Keen Newport H2 Perfect Summer Sandal October 02, 2012 Reviewer: Brenda from Papillion, NE I buy these closed toe sandals for my active toddler. We have tried similar types, but nothing really compares to Keens. These sandals hold their shape and their durability is amazing. They look barely worn after a summer of use. Another thing to note is that similar types have not smelled great after being worn, but that is not an issue with the Keens.
