Aa a regular Keen outdoor shoe buyer I am really happy with this boot purchase. If you are a dedicated "Austin " wearer you won't be disappointed. Good stability, aggressive lug pattern that still feels good on hard surfaces and excellent ankle support with quick release shoe laces. Slightly narrower compared to the same size Austin but I'm sure will "spread" nicely with a bit more use.

They are fabulous. That is really all I need to say. The size 10 was just like other makes of shoe or boot, a little on the large side for me but fine with a chunky pair of socks. The shape and feel is typical of Keen: wide toe box, chunky styling. They feel sufficiently stiff while also giving good grip and flexibility in the ankle. The outer leather is more like your traditional walking book leather, and the inside feels just like typical walking boots.I've done some local street walking and also some scrambling however they are going to get a real test this weekend.I am so confident in them being comfortable, I am not going to taken any other boots with my, just a choice of two thickness of sock.
