I look to Keen because they have excellent arch support. These shoes look outdoorsy and a comfortable right out of the box. They can be worn for many hours and their fit and feel remain steady.

These are wonderful wonderful.They are very comfortable, great for hiking. They feel very stable and have a great sole, but are not as clunky as the Targhee IIs, (so better for travel too).The Grey/wisteria color is very neutral and muted. They are waterproof but not hot.I wore them to the movie theater b/c it was raining so bad and my feet didn't even sweat inside.Love them Thanks Keen.

The shoes did exactly what I needed. I was told to take waterproof shoes on my trip to Ireland. they were perfect. Light weight and rugged for climbing rocks and rugged terrain in the rain. Spent one soggy day walking in Dublin with a group who were wearing sneakers - they had wet feet. I may not have been the most stylish among the group, but I was dry.
Wears this shoe: 10 days in July. I'll be wearing them with my weekly walking group from now on.

After having tried other Keen styles with no success, this shoe proved a winner! Stable, comfortable, and durable.I liked it enough that this is my second pair. Also they are water resistant and warm so are great for winter wear, but I didn't find them too hot come spring--great breathability at the same time. A great looking shoe, too, especially with jeans. I didn't need to size up, I'm a true 8M with high arches, but my toes are somewhat short.

This shoe feels good right out of the box! It can be a little hot though, but still very comfortable. The one thing it is lacking for a hiking shoe is side support.
