I bought these shoes because for the first time in my life, I needed shoes with lots of room in the toe area. I have a narrow foot but I've developed arthritis in my toes and my big toe, which has always ended in a ski slope, was getting worse. The second toe was determined to move under the big toe and there was a large space between it and the third toe. In other words, I was in constant pain and couldn't find a comfortable shoe. Then a friend suggested Keens and I ordered a pair of Calistogas. I couldn't believe how good they felt! I quickly ordered a second pair and thus had one for around the house and one for dressier occasions. I dress very casually and I was able to wear these shoes to any event I attended. I was amazed I could even wash them! And my toes actually started to move back to where they belonged - almost. I will wear nothing but these shoes and maybe a different style next Spring, Summer and Fall, and I'm in search of a pair suitable for New Hampshire winters. I strongly recommend them if you have any foot trouble, especially if your toes turn up or you need a high toe box. And if you have normal feet, you'll just love the style and practicality of them.

I love this shoe. I have it in 2 different colors and intend to buy one or two additional colors. I get complements on them alot. They are MEGA comfortable.

I found this style of Keen to run a little large ... just a pinch. They are very comfortable, well made and the color is great. The only change I would make to this sandal is to change the inside to something that was not as slick - my foot slides on the smooth surface.
