A longtime Keds slip-on wearer, I thought the Penny would be a good choice for summer outfits. But after wearing it for five minutes (unfortunately outside), the heel expanded, my foot slipped out, and the shoe was rendered unwearable. Putting guards in the back heel did not ameliorate the problem. My lesson is that I will not buy new Keds designs anymore. A bad experience all around.
Wears this shoe: I do not. It is now a doorstop, soon to be given to the homeless.

These shoes are very cute but hurt to wear them longer than an hour. I usually have no problem wearing Keds shoes but I wish I had ordered an half size bigger.
