Purchased for my daughter because of Ked quality and total canvas design. Shoe is light and breathes well for summertime wear. It didn't last more than a week before the seam along the laces came apart. I had to resew with nylon thread. My daughter wears them to school and have been used indoor only. Also, the shoe is quite roomy so that didn't contribute to the unraveling of the seam. I have purchased white canvas Keds for years and never had this problem. Hopefully it was an insolated incident with this particular batch.

These sneakers looked so cute on my daughter. However, after a few days they got mud and food on them (she's only 4) and I threw them in the washing machine and they shrunk a little and frayed a bit. I realized afterwards that they did say spot cleaning only but I just assumed that since they were canvas, they would be washable. Now I have new sneakers that she can't wear anymore because they're at least a half size smaller now.

My grandaughter loved these sneakers. She loved the color and I loved the look. They were not big and bulky like most sneakers on the market for kids. They wash great in the machine and I will be buying another pair in pink. I highly recommendthis sneaker. It is a nice addition to any child's collection.
