I have been wearing this tennis shoe for many years. I am a 4.5 level player and have had trouble with shin splints and plantar facitis,but not while wearing this shoe. I highly recommend this shoe for the serious tennis player.

I've found the K-Swiss Ultrascendor to be the best pair of tennis shoes - it's lightweight, very comfortable and has great support. They are very comfortable from the first time you wear it - you don't need to break them in. I'm on my fifth pair.
