This sneaker is a bit heavy but the only one that will accommodate orthotics with lifts and protect your ankle at the same time. This is the first tennis sneaker I have been able to wear with my orthotics -- and with a brace I am having to use temporarily as a result of a bone fracture suffered on the court-- and it offers terrific support. My injury would have been much worse if I'd been wearing different sneakers!

I expected these to be incredibly comfortable sneakers, but I did not quite end up with that. Unfortunately, they fit awkwardly and rub my ankles when I walk. Perhaps I just need to break them in more, but right now I can only bear to wear them for very short periods of time.
