2009 K-Swiss launches the Remastered Classic. The same look as the Original born in 1966 but rebuilt for out-of-the-box comfort with modern day technologies. Softer leather with signature five-stripe detail. Two piece insole with a molded EVA heel cup and thick Poron footbed. Contoured signature three-piece toe for comfort. Classic D-rings and mesh lined tongue. Light weight outsole with herringbone tread pattern. EVA midsole for comfort.

Simply put, the Remastered version is not the Original K-Swiss we all know! But, it's pretty darn close! The shoe definitely has a broken-in feel right out of the box. In fact, the leather reflects this because it looks a little broken in and not as crisp as the original! This is why I rated 4-stars. In addition, the shoe is much lighter than the original. Moreover the Remastered is like 10 times more comfortable than the original! This is the reason why I bought 2 pairs! Overall, the Remastered still carries the Original K-Swiss Legacy very well!

At first the leather looked and felt stiff. But from the first wearing, these are comfortable shoes. Fit perfectly with my ortho inserts. I usually wear a 13 dress shoe and a 14 running shoe. These are 14s and felt excellent. They have thick laces, and I love the lace to toe. I have small instep and these snug up well because of the lace to toe.
Wears this shoe: work, casual, business casual.
