this shoe (diff color) was reviewed in tennis magazine and recommended for people with pronated feet in early 2008, so i sought it out. it was hard to find at first because it was a new model but as i found, worth searching for. it's light. it breathes well because of the mesh; much better than the (non-leather) stabilor model without the mesh. i would have given it 5 stars for 2 reasons:- the kswiss shoelace design sucks. while hard to describe, the design is 'twisted' and results in the knot loosening unless you are aware of the problem and use every bit of force to secure your knot. also, the laces wear out and break easily. i have 3 pair and 2 broke after 6 months. - the soles wear a little quicker than i would like, even when playing a lot more doubles than singles.

I read about this shoe in tennis magazine and purchased the all-leather NON-MESH version of the stabilor because it was recommended for pronated feet (I couldn't find the MESH version at all). It was tough to find in stores to try on because it was new for 2008. I've worn them for 1/2 a season of singles and a season of doubles and they are still in good shape despite k-swiss' reputation for soles that wear down quickly. I sure do wish they'd change their 'twisted' laces because knots easily become loose.I have been happy enough with the leather version that i bought two pair of the mesh version. My feet sweat a lot in the non-mesh version and i'm looking forward to warmer weather or when my all-leather stabilors wear out so i can try the stabilor mesh version. Hopefully this model shoe will be around a while.

I like the look of the sneaker. Very supoportive. They are for the most part comfortable to wear, but become uncomfortable when worn for extended amounts of time (10+ hours). I experience pinching at the base of my big toe on my left foot. It is taking longer than expected to break this pair in.
