Exceeds expectations March 20, 2012
Reviewer: Wisco from Green Bay, WI
Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width
I did not know what to expect, but this shoe has exceeded my expectations in several ways. Firstly, it is very lightweight and breathable. It is also possible to wear the shoe without socks, which may or may not be a benefit to all.
Wears this shoe: During exercise; running, weight lifting, plyometric training, etc.

Good, but not as good as last years green/silver Ironman shoe January 12, 2012
Reviewer: Jim from Waikoloa, Hawaii
Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width
I have been buying the Ironman shoe each year for several years and have been very happy with the product. The first year I bought the shoes, I found myself often picking up my walking pace to a trot/jog. I use them as daily walk around shoes and that is probably why I prefer last year's green/silver model. It had a mesh top, was sturdier in its construction, particularly at the toe, and offered better utility, in my opinion. The red/white/blue/gray model (the more recent one and the subject of this review) is lighter and probably superior as a running shoe. So, if you are a runner, I think you will be very pleased with the value that this product provides.
Wears this shoe: I am wearing them right now and use them as my daily walk around shoes.

Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width
A very light weight shoe. We got the white with blue and red ironman and had to get a half size larger than we normally get, but it fits really well. Gets lots of compliments at the gym.

Quick and soft landing December 14, 2011

I liked this product because of the light weight and the great reviews on other websites like K-Swiss. I also enjoyed the fact that you can wear these sock-less. I know many people are writing that you cannot, but you can it is just needing to take the time to get used to the shoes without sock. The foam in the sole of the shoe accepts the landing load and feeling like a soft spring propels your foot off the ground. Best recommended for mid-foot to forefoot strikers, but the gel shock pad in the heel really helps if you heel strike on occasion. Super breathable and there is minor pronation support in the arch area for those who need a little stiffness in that area. Overall a great triathlon shoe and would recommend up to a HIM. Not really any dislikes to speak of other that I wish they had bungee laces but I am sure you could add them.
Wears this shoe: Training and racing for Sprint to HIM

K-Ona November 15, 2011
Reviewer: sam from Los Angeles

I was a little worried about this shoe because I've been running in a different style, not the S. I wasn't sure if they would feel the same, but sure enough it feels great! I love the K-Ona. The S actually feels a little lighter than others. It's been a great training and racing shoe. I'll keep buying!
