The Defier RS outsole features non-marking and a clay-friendly herringbone tread pattern for multi-surface traction.

Love my K-Swiss Defier size 11B. I have always had such a hard time finding tennis shoes that fit correctly. These shoes, although size 11, are stylish and don't make my foot look as big as it is. They are comfortable and seem to last very well on the courts. They are getting a lot of action, as I play at least five times a week. Bravo for Defier.

I am very happy with my purchase of the KSwiss Defender. They fit my feet perfectly. I bought New Balance tennis shoes about a month ago; same size and width as the KSwiss Defender, and I can't even wear them.I used to wear KSwiss 30 years ago for platform tennis. They are great shoes.Love them and am planning on buying a second pair.

The shoe fits well but it was quite heavy compared to past tennis shoes. I bought it because it was rated well for support by Tennis magazine, and it does provide good foot support, especially laterally. My orthotics fit well in it also.

I love the cushion, support and wide toe box. It's taller than some shoes, so if you tend to turn your ankle you might not like it. They were VERY comfortable right out of the box.
