Bought this because K-Swiss classic seemed to fit my foot, esp. length, perfectly. This version felt a little wider than the Classic but can be tightened up as needed. Really like the laces that are "wavy" to prevent untying during play - no more triple-knots needed. The shoes are durable for hard courts, which makes them just a tiny bit heavy (but worth the trade off). A big plus was that practically no break-in time was needed - they were comfortable right away - and stabilized K-Swiss style from the center of the shoe.

This is my second pair of K-Swiss Defier tennis shoes. There is no break-in period and they are extremely comfortable. I know you can find cheaper tennis shoes, but feel you "get what you pay for" in a better shoe like this one. I highly recommend it.
