This is a nice shoe for the price. It definitely runs at least a half size larger than normal. I like the shoe enough, but I've seen other brands that seem to have better quality, such as Stride Rite. It's definitely a good shoe, though.

I wanted my son to have good shoes he could wear through the spring and summer. They rubbed his feet in three places (close to blisters) in one day. The shoes sit just a little too high around his ankle bone, so we are wearing bandaids on his feet to prevent blisters, on the rare occasions I can get him to wear them. The elastic "shoestrings" were ingenious, but hard for him to pull apart to get the shoe on his feet. I wouldn't buy these again.
