I really like that this shoe comes in widths. My daughter has recently started needing a wide, and it is like trying to find a needle in the haystack to find her size. My daughter wears these to school with her uniform. She says they are very comfortable and I think they are very cute.

Why don't more manufacturer's make navy Mary Janes?? I bought these twice for my daughter because she is so hard on shoes. They are very comfortable but seem to get torn up rather quickly. Last time the strap broke away from the Velcro after a couple of months. I purchased Stride Rite ones after that and they seemed to last a little longer.

I bought this shoe for my granddaughter for the new school season that started last Friday (8/14/09). We got her dressed for school that morning, put her shoes on, and went to fasten the Velcro, and the clasp the belt fits through broke in half. This was the only pair of shoes I purchased for her, so she had to go through the school day with a broken strap! She is at a children's academy school, so they are not allowed to wear tennis shoes - the shoes MUST match the uniform. She was sad, and I felt so bad. I am so disappointed in this. The shoe was a perfect fit and width for her feet, so I thought I struck gold and was prepared to order two or three more pairs, but not now.
