The leather is much too stiff for a baby or toddler shoe. It is a quality shoe and well made, but unfortunately would require an uncomfortable "breaking-in" period of time.

I remember seeing the pictures my mom had of me when I started walking and those huge, clunky white shoes with the bells that ended up becoming bronze statues on our fireplace. Well, these are nothing like those; these shoes are so stylish for my daughter. I love the ostrich-like detailing around the ankle and they are so secure for her foot. My only drawback would be that they are a tad bit slippery on the bottom, but that is nothing a shoe grip couldn't fix. I adore these.
