Good Casual Shoe

These are well padded, comfortable shoes with smooth, light shine and a square toe. They don't keep shape well if they get wet. I have owned two pairs. The first pair was at least one half size smaller than advertised. I ordered a second pair one half larger and was OK. It's a great casual shoe.

Purchased shoes for husband. Size fit smaller than what he normally wears in the Johnson and Murphy brand. Exchanged shoes for the next size up, and they fit beautifully.

This is a good-looking shoe. As others have said, the heel pinches, and this can be quite uncomfortable. I'm hoping once they're a little more broken, in this won't be a problem

Most of my dress shoes are from Johnston & Murphy and I like the quality, style, and the fit. So, when the dress-casual slip-ons that I had owned for only about a year fell apart, I thought I would see what J&M had and settled on the Tidwell Camp Mocs. As expected, so far they have performed well. For about the first three weeks of use primarily as commuting (I usually change at work to a full dress shoe), weekend, and errand-running shoes, they pinched some in the heel and were a little tight across the ball of the foot. Since then, they now fit comfortably and well. I like the tone of the finish, but should note that it is somewhat prone to superficial scuffs of the kind that can be polished out or left in this sort of shoe for the character. In short, I would buy them again and, based upon the time I have had them and my other experience with the brand, certainly would recommend them to anyone who expects good quality and has the patience to break in a good shoe.
