Johnston & Murphy has a history of producing high quality shoes & this one is no different. I purchased the shoe for work, during which I spend a great amount of time on my feet. I was surprised by the comfort level of the shoe, which, in my opinion, is comparable to the Rockport shoes I've purchased in the past. I highly recommend this shoe for that reason.

I work in a restaurant and wanted a shoe that was attractive, comfortable, and slip resistent. This shoe met that criteria and then some. Very apealing visually and did not need any breaking in. The sole was comfortable and it did not slip on wet floors. I don't know how long they will hold up, but I was willing to take a chance for the comfort. If they last 8 -12 months I will buy a pair in each color. They also look nice enough for a night on the town.
