If you're in the market for arguably the most comfortable pseudo-dress shoe -- then Johnston & Murphy's Samford Plain Toe is your best bet! Very, very good fit with a great cushy feel all day long. I even wear them for casual dress on occasions.

Bought a pair of these a couple years ago and recently black and brown pairs. Lightest, most comfortable dress shoes I've ever owned. Cushioning in the sole and under the ankle.

I was able to wear them the entire day. No blisters with a dress shoe? Unheard of! The toe of one of the shoes mashed in and did not pop out all that good, not sure what I ran into, if anything.
