The Penn Slip-On features Johnston & Murphy's XC4 Comfort System that provides a superior fit, cushioning, lightweight construction, and moisture wicking. This shoe also features a round bicycle toe with a removable footbed that changes a medium to wide for dual width. It has a molded footbed with foam cushion and super-soft sheepskin covering, plus a molded midsole for superior comfort. The high density rubber outsole provides shock absorption and durability. This shoe's lightweight construction and molded midsole reduce weight, while the advance construction and molded channel system on the outsole give optimum flexibility. It has moisture wicking performance lining for enhanced breathability. Waterproof uppers and construction allow for easy care and protection from elements.

It is a great, comfortable shoe and is great when it rains. I did buy extras as I do like it. It only gets 4 stars because I wish it had a shinier, more polished look.

Keeps my feet dry and is the most comfortable dress shoe I've ever worn. My feet like most men's feet perspire 16+ oz. per day and dry means not having a cold damp foot.

As I've come to expect from Johnston & Murphy, the XC4 series is truly extremely comfortable. I bought the Penn Slip-on for travelling to make it easier getting through TSA. It is nice enough looking to wear to the office as well. The fact that it is waterproof (I haven't tested this yet) is a welcome bonus!

real leather and well put together. Seemed to be about a half size bigger than my normal shoe. Can wear them through airport security with not setting off the medal detector. Could use better tread on the bottom for wet and slick walkways.

I was challenged to find a comfortable slip on shoe. I'm traveling quite a bit now and needed a shoe that would be comfortable and handle the constraints of travel. This shoe does it. Probably the most comfortable slip on I've ever owned, barely notice they are there. I can walk the airport terminal and not have my feet aching by the end of the day.
